One of the best midrange phones I have owned. I find myself using it over my more expensive phones I have in my rotation. Having a head phone jack and Memory slot is as welcome back to features missing from high end phones. The screen is amazing and the battery life is amazing. Speaker’s are more than adequate. Stylus is added bonus if you like to use one. Processor is okay, but if you are using it for everyday use, It will great. No power brick is a minus, but there all doing that for the most part. If you want a flagship phone, it’s not at that level. It is definitely worth the purchase considering I got it for 249 over the 399 asking price. I have the 256 version and a 512 SD card. Great for movies and pictures. I highly recommend this phone. Hard to go wrong.

Moto g stylus 5G, a best budget smartphone with real premium feel. It is fast, big, good display and comes with a stylus. Awesome camera and shooting experience. Loving it and purchase experience added a feather in the cap.

I upgraded to the Moto G Stylus 5G with 256GB (the red one) a few weeks ago from a 32GB Moto E 2020, so it had huge improvements in every area. Having a lot more storage is nice because I couldn’t really install that many apps on my previous phone, even just the essential ones. The vegan leather exterior is interesting, but I wasn’t a fan of how it feels to hold, so I eventually got a case for it. The length of the phone is also a little narrower than I’d like to comfortably hold the phone in landscape mode for long periods of time. I haven’t used the stylus as much as I’ve expected, but it works well. (The front and the back pictures of this phone were taken with a friend’s Pixel 6 camera. My favorite upgrade this phone has from my old one is its camera. The back camera pictures are very crisp, and there’s lots of adjustment options and modes in the camera app. The front camera isn’t as crisp as the back camera, but it still takes some nice pictures. (I didn’t feel like attaching selfies to this review, so I used some Metamucil instead. The first picture is the back camera, and the second picture is the front camera.) I’m sure as this phone gets older its battery life will shorten, but for now, it’s strong enough that I don’t have to plug it in every day. It doesn’t get too hot either, except when I’m running a lot of apps at the same time or if I’m using the Smart Connect feature to a TV. Overall, as a person who doesn’t use my phone too heavily, I think it’s a great phone for the price point.
